Congratulations Harvey Harpoons on coming equal first with Fremantle Swan DBC in the Premier Women’s Division.
Our very first Grand Prix regatta saw us racing teams which have been established for many years! Our strategy might not have been spot on, our timing may have been out at times, we may have screamed until we were hoarse and felt like pulling our paddles in due to pure exhaustion, but we gave it 110% and took home the trophy which is sitting nicely at the bar at the Harvey Hotel. We have to share it with Fremantle, but we’re sure they won’t mind us looking at it for a while.
