Welcome....to the Harvey Harpoons Dragon Boat Club
The Harvey Harpoons train on the picturesque Harvey Dam located at Weir Road, Harvey, Western Australia.
Our new club is growing quickly and we always welcome new members.
Dragon boating is a fun way to keep fit, socialise and have fun. We compete at regattas with other State teams and at the first Grand Prix of the 2007-08 season the Harpoons Women’s team took pride in accepting our first trophy which we shared with Fremantle Swan DBC in coming equal first in the Women’s Premier Division.
Whilst we have a strong women’s team, the Harpoons need more men, so if you live in the Harvey district and want to join in the action, feel free to venture in the boat with us at training and give it a go.
The Harvey Harpoons DBC is proudly sponsored by Fletcher’s Harvey Hotel which also serves as our clubhouse where we enjoy a cool drink after training most Saturdays.
